Lockdown Poetry

We are here in quarantine.

We are here,

Suffocated by the abundance of open space,

We are here,

Trying to

Minimize the problem,

The spread.

This is not a race

To be the best

It’s a slow walk

To the finish line

With everyone intact

Sanity included.

We are here,

A part of history,

Should this be in textbooks,

How would you narrate your story?
